The Adkins-Arthur cemetery near Somerset, KY. My grandparents lay next to my great-grandparents. This road leads to the hilltop area set aside for the graves. The maintenance is completed by a family member as there is no public responsibility or private company ownership. Every year family members gather on their Memorial Day to share time, memories, food and live gospel music. They pass a hat for donations for the maintenance. Mom and her siblings always donated some money. I sent a check last year and will again this week and if my cousins wish to join me I will provide them with the info.
