I missed posting this on the actual date, Sep 4, because I was with Mom that day and then drove my Cadillac in the Herscher LABOR DAY PARADE on Monday! Then on to Pontiac and it's new museums on Tuesday. This picture of Gertie and Mom was taken in 1964 I believe. Mike McVey has written some comments on this blog so I printed them off and read them to Mom Sunday. She was so happy to hear about the McVey boys. Especially on Gerties birthday!sitemeter

Gertie's Birthday 9-4-1925
