Happy Birthday Phyllis Ann!
She was born 19 July 1939 and Dad 20 July 1917. This is a picture taken at the old stone barn house along the Kankakee River that they were farming at the time. My son Denny Ray was born 10 July 1964. Next month we celebrate Mardene's birthday, 8 August 1943, and mine, 11 August 1943. Also, Mom and Dad were married 4 August 1938.

Mardene's Rocking Horse
During WW2 the war effort took the resources so cardboard was used in some cases. Uncle Berle bought Aunt Mardene this rocking horse. Reagan Lucille Miller was in the store room and dusted it off and heard the story related to it during her stay this summer. I will bring a copy of this pic for Mom and Mardene to see.
Gramma Cuz w/Flowers
Mom was having an exceptional day yesterday! We talked for 30 minutes or so and she was laughing and joking, always a good sign with her. These flowers were from us to her for Mothers Day a few years ago I believe.
