Thinking of Uncle Berle on Memorial Day

Grade School Program
Today we went to a program at our Grandson's grade school. Ryan Miller portrayed Ben Franklin. As we walked down the halls I was thinking of Mom and my Longfellow Grade school days. Barb enjoyed the program and the day. So did I.Sunday, May 15, 2011

Marilyn Rose is in the Hospital
She has pneumonia. She has been working hard getting Mom settled in in her new Nursing Home and she recently moved and smoking doesn't help her health any. Dora, Randy, Mardene and Vickie visited Mom yesterday. Pam and Marilyn Rose were there several times in the last week and I was there Good Friday so Mom has had some company lately. NEW PHONE OPERATIONAL
I called Mom today and had a short chat because she had just layed down at 12:30. Lunch time is now at around 11 AM. New schedules.(815) 428-3070.
